Caribbean not on the red list

The Red List

The Caribbean Islands are NOT on the red list!

There is a lot of concern about the government’s red list.
The red list is a list of countries where Covid-19 has a new variant that the UK government is trying to keep out of the UK.

The red list countries are all those in South America (including Guyana), South Africa, a lot of the rest of Africa and some other countries around the world.

Jamaica, Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, in fact none of the Caribbean Islands are on the red list. This means that passengers returning from the Caribbean Islands do not need to isolate at a government approved hotel, they will isolate at home in the usual way.

This information was correct on the 11th of Feb 21.
